First big snowy day in a while
Love having a 4×4 with fresh tires on days like this. Who needs snow plows?

Can’t wait to get back out on the track. Where did the summer go? Didn’t get much riding time on either street or track this year. I really need to change that.
Since the last track day, I have replaced the bad radiator, switched out to an HRC overflow bottle, HRC rear brake reservoir kit, and a Core Moto braided rear brake line.
But does it work?
Finally replace the old overhead compass info center thingy that had gone out some time ago.
Now I’m once again privy to the outside temp, the Beast’s horrible mountain mileage and how many miles I have left until I have to walk.
I felt so uncertain about my voyages until now. All hail technology… hip, hip, hooray!
New leather for the beast, replacing the old seat that had been horribly torn since I bought the truck.
Didn’t get much sleep last night. These days make me feel like a kid on Christmas morning, waiting for my mom and dad to wake up so we can open presents.
All packed up for another great day at Buttonwillow Raceway Park with Let’s Ride Trackdays.
My buddy with the motovan decided to take a snooze so I had to get my bike to the track on my own.
No problem, with a long ramp, a tight grip on the bars, and a whole lot of prayers I got it up in the beast without breaking a sweat.
Now that I know I can do this on my own, I see more track days in my future. Here we go again, see you there.
Our sleep set up for next weekend’s Father’s Day track day.
I’m surprised that we actually fit comfortably in the short bed thanks to the tent utilizing the tailgate area.
Ali will be sleeping in the cab, with her new air mattress designed for the truck. We’ll have to wait and see if she makes it the entire night in there all by herself.
Bring it on!
The mind is officially boggled!
