Could be a lot worse

My ride for the week as my truck is awaiting some shop time… Not a bad position to be in and it seems ‘ol mother nature must have got the memo as she’s cooled down the heat this week which makes for a much more comfortable experience.

Thankfully I had just installed my new Galfer USA wave rotor and brake pads I picked up from FP Racing. I also went through and bled the brake and clutch lines with clean clear fluid and replaced the old worn out grips with new Pro Grip SCS grips. The bike is feeling better than ever.

I can’t believe this thing just turned 14 years old, it still gets my heart going like it did the day I brought it home.

Fueling the fire

I would like to thank the voters of the State of California who voted against repealing the recent tax increase, and for handing over the ability to raise these taxes without further voter approval.

Still waiting for nice new roads and bridges… Oh, but I hear they are working around the clock to finish up the train to nowhere.

Oh, and my tank still isn’t full, the pump just shut off at $100.

Classic horror

Found this gem last week when I was killing time at the friendly neighborhood Best Buy. This was the movie that introduced me to horror. I had to sneak into the theater to see this film as I was too young. Little did I know that years later I would meet and hangout with one of the actors.

Now I just need to get my buddy Bill Thornbury to sign it.

So happy to find some Zune treasures

Grabbed a Zune Grip Pad which was found in the original Car Pack. It amazes me that you can still find these things new and in their factory sealed boxes.

Finally found the stock background image for my brown Zunes. I already had them for the black, white and pink models, but not the original brown. Still on the lookout for the stock background for the red Zune but I’m only one image away from the complete set.
